Our story

UniReach was set up by students at Oxford University to tackle inequality in higher education.

For many, attending Oxford or Cambridge seems an impossible feat — this is wrong, and bad for us all.
That's why we created UniReach to provide 1-to-1 help for aspiring Oxbridge students, on-demand.

We now also run workshops across the country, publish in-depth application guides on this site and on YouTube, and help schools improve their Oxbridge programme.

What's different with UniReach?

  • Get help within 48 hours
  • Our help is on-demand; you can use UniReach as many times as you like
  • UniReach sessions are about you: you can have a nice, friendly, informal chat with an Oxford or Cambridge student to get a perspective on admissions you won't find by just reading about it — they give you the real inside story
  • Our mentors answer your questions, bust myths, and help you navigate the maze of Oxbridge applications, right when you need it, with no long application process

THE TEAM

This is our managing day-to-day team. We all volunteer part-time to run UniReach, either alongside our university studies or normal day-jobs. If you have a specific question or concern, you can use this section to find the person to send it to.

Naman Gupta

Naman is our charity President. He is responsible for the broad overview of UniReach's work on a day-to-day basis, and developing new ways to improve what we do. He's currently working intensively with the Subject Resources Team to develop application guides for every single subject.

Mentor Engagement

As our mentor engagement officers, Olviya and Zeliha work to bring new mentors and groups into the UniReach family and develop new ways to sustain UniReach as an exciting and fulfilling organisation to volunteer with, such as by organising mentor socials.

Subject Resources

Clara, Jacky, Hamza, and Ankit are our subject resources officers, which means they're behind all our general and subject-specific advice resources. From time to time, they will reach out to mentors for their help putting together advice sheets.
