Ideal Preparation Timeline (2022 Entry)​

  • January - September: Explore your studies and boost your personal statement through supra-curriculars! Ensure that you are on track for strong A-Level* grades too.
  • August - November: Prepare for the LNAT (Oxford applicants) 
  • September - October: Draft your personal statement
  • November - December: Prepare for your interview (and CLT if Cambridge applicant) 
  • January onwards: Focus on A-Levels*.
* or equivalent

Key Dates

  • October 15  - UCAS Deadline (includes personal statement)
  • September 15  - LNAT (for Oxford) Registration Deadline
  • October 15 - LNAT (for Oxford) Assessment Deadline
  • Week of 23rd November - CLT for Cambridge Applicants 
  • Early December - Interview

Grade Requirements

Oxford
  • A-Levels: AAA
  • Advanced Highers: AAB or AA with an additional Higher at grade A 
  • IB: 38 (including core points) with 666 at Higher Level. 

Cambridge
  • A*AA
  • IB: 40-42, with 776 at Higher Level
  • NOTE: Some colleges require submitted work: learn more
