Subject Resources Associate |
UniReach is hiring a team of 6 associates for our Subject Resources team. We're trying to transform the way that disadvantaged university applicants pick and apply to their course by building an application environment for every subject. The application environment is an early-stage project, so we welcome ideas on how it can be useful, but as a minimum, we intend it to contain accessible resources to help applicants with every step of the process and to develop the key skills for success in the admissions process.
Successful candidates will leverage information from their own experiences and networks, as well as conducting online research to produce these resources, such as mock interview walk-throughs and detailed explanations for admissions assessments. At least one of the six associates will have experience producing high-quality video and/or graphical media.
We're looking for proactive people with previous experience communicating complex ideas to non-expert audiences and a strong work ethic. You'll also need a passion for helping others, perhaps (but not necessarily) with experience working in a research and/or product management roles.
Though this part-time and fixed-term position is unpaid, we can offer in return the chance to work at a dynamic and growing charity in the EdTech sector. You will enjoy a large amount of responsibility, plus significant agency to leave your mark on the project. We hope that at the end of the internship, you'll have an excellent example of research and project management work to put on your CV and discuss in later interviews. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will be part of a buzzing team where you'll do a lot more than make up the numbers.
In particular, we welcome applicants from those studying, or who have recently studied:
UniReach is entirely volunteer-run, with a small team working on a part-time basis. Similarly, successful candidates will not be expected to volunteer more than 5-10 hours a week.
Applications close on Friday August 6th (midnight), with interviews for shortlisted candidates held in the week commencing August 9th, over Zoom.
Start date: flexible
Applicants should apply to be a Subject Resources Officer in this Google form - APPLICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION HAVE NOW CLOSED.
We guarantee to provide a paragraph of feedback to every applicant.
