Get valuable experience at UniReach |
UniReach is a registered charity dedicated to putting disadvantaged university applicants on a level playing field in their applications to top UK universities, focusing on Oxford and Cambridge. We connect applicants from disadvantaged schools with university students who help them access the 'inside knowledge' that more privileged applicants access via their schools. To do this, we organise 30-minute, on-demand mentoring sessions, in addition to producing application resources, workshops, and other insights. Last year, 57% of our students received an offer to their top university choice, whilst hundreds of students and teachers from across the country attended our workshops.
We are entirely volunteer run. We have a team of 11 people, all students or recent post/graduates, and have a team of over 400 volunteer mentors, who either are, or have recently been, students at Oxford or Cambridge themselves. As a growing and dynamic EdTech charity, we're often looking for new people to join our team. When applications are open, you just need to apply through this Google form.
UniReach is a great place to get valuable work experience in the education and technology sectors, and could also help propel you into charity and public sector careers. As a voluntary organisation, we know we cannot take up all your time; we're all volunteers at UniReach, and we all work part-time. So, you'll have time to pursue other projects, whilst enjoying a large amount of agency and responsibility in your UniReach role. It's a great opportunity to learn new skills and have a genuine, tangible impact, early on in your career.
